Solo event was awesome for the rewards hope to get some more events like this

Back to a pretty decent showdown event with this one.
pros
- tours were easy and css were common/usable for most
- matchmaking seems to be fixed, wouldn’t change a this
- bags were paying out well, was able to rack up a bunch of coins/medals and shards for Erik
- event milestones were pretty well balanced
cons
- faction event was very rng based, luckily my faction maxed, but there were plenty that did not, surprised there weren’t more offers that included shards

Overall I was satisfied with the event. The matchmaking in SD was done well and the superstar requirements were fair as it allowed nearly the entire player base to use various superstars from their individual rosters. It seems that the rewards have certainly been on the rise the last few weeks, which is likely due to 5SG being rolled out. I hope the level of rewards continues past the roll-out as the costs of leveling superstars greatly increases at the higher levels and the ability to constantly progress your roster is what keeps players interested.
The one critic I would have on the event as a whole would be that the faction event was purely based around not only spending, but RNG as well. As it stands more than half of our faction scored 0 in the event, despite spending. Having a new character rolled out, with an event specifically designed around them, it's a bit discouraging to end the event with 0 shards. The tours should have had at least some shards available as a reward so that everyone could have contributed something to the faction event.
This event was a step in the right direction and am looking forward to seeing how things progress moving forward.

All in all, this was a really enjoyable event. The resources were great, the requirements were reasonable, and the time spent was not unhealthy.
What I liked: the amount of coins in the bags/milestones made playing the event worthwhile. The Erik shards were nice as well, as it not only gave people a pretty strong striker but also enough shards to level his moves pretty high without using TP. It was good that we could double up on bonus characters for the SD requirements (such as using 2 modern and having it count twice), which made it much faster to complete if you were strategic about which cards to use together.
What could have been better: obviously bugs happen here and there, but this event had way too many of them. The tour matches didn’t work for a while, contest superstars weren’t loaded, the showdown coins earned didn’t count for a while, etc. It creates so much unnecessary noise and frustration in factions to try and communicate what parts of the event people can do and what parts they can’t. I also echo everybody’s points about how the spending component of the faction event gave some people zero points and others millions of points for the same amount of money.
But yeah if you guys make this the model going forward, do some more testing/QA on the event before launching it, and make the points from spending a little bit more consistent, I think it would be an improvement to SD events overall.

Feeback
The Showdown itself was not that bad i liked it being 1000 notoriety and the increased amount of sd coins that came with it. Unfortunately i still suffered some glitches like red ring starting 999 health and i had to force close it or where i couldnt use a single move (but thats maybe a personal issue not globally). I liked the bonus characters which are very attainable. The same goes for tours, the tours were decent (50 hp for hell is kinda a joke tho) but the contest superstar were also common.
Talking about the tour and the issues it caused. The event launched without all rewards being added and some people missing out on the rewards. It was very frustrating that the tours werent working when they were finally live. Talking about things that werent working, several players had issues with "no live events" and didnt get points. The game sometimes plays up and shows that there arent any current event live, causing people to miss out on rewards.
The faction event had really good milestone rewards unfortunately unatainable unless you and your faction spend hundred (yes hundreds/ thousands) each. The drop rate of snoop shards was terrible so even if you spend you wouldnt guarantee faction points for the event.
I was really hyped by the new snoop and wished it was possible to progress better in the faction event to have a better shot at him. But when it became clear that it was an all spend event the motivation in the entire faction dropped big time and people lost interest (im talking about a faction performing top 20 and i know there are more faction that feel this way).
As a final point of general feedback i would like to point out the incompetence of support. When i had issues with missing items they had to ask for screenshots to know which event i was talking about. Either this is a sign that the game is so terrible that even support doesnt know which event is broken this time, or they have no clue at all whats going on.

Pros:
-The Solo Event was pretty good. Tours were definitly 'very open' as promised in the blog. The solo milestones were achivable without spending too much. The SD tournament went smoothely. There were a lot of ressources in the tours, milestones and bags.
Cons:
-The Team Event was pretty random to score. Even if you spent a decent amount of money, you were not guaranteed to score. Snoop shards were too rare. Its not very satisfying to spend money on an event and end up with 0 points for your team. For the amount of bags we got, the chances of getting a version of Snoop Dogg out of it could be a bit higher.
-The Snoop Loot was a desaster. Only two of our top 20 factions members got the new Snoop Dogg. Not a single one got the old Snoop Trickster. Whats the point of having a featured Superstars loot if they have the lowest chances of being pulled?

The individual vent was awesome lots of rewards the match making was good as well I hope you run more events like this. The faction event sucked there was no way for anyone to get points except spending money

thanks for the new SD event. please think about faction event next time.

Of course as everyone has said, shards for points was a let down as the shards were so rare but showdown went brilliantly. The rewards for showdown were also enticing and made it worthwhile

There was a few freeze up. It has been fun

Pros - tours and SD didn't require ridiculous character requirements. The avg F2P was able to complete fairly high milestones.
Cons - Snoop shards purely a P2P event, ok fine. But shards had a "spooky high" odds drop rate. Unless you pulled 2 posters not really possible. Should have at least had a bag or two in the tours/milestones that contained shards.

Good solo event with half decent tours.
Faction event being spend only was pretty poor.

Overall this was one of the better showdown contests I'm a long time for the solo contest. Solo contest wasn't restricted to rare superstars and it wasn't a huge grind either , rewards for the milestones including tours were great including the amount of shards being given for superstars.
As for the cons of this event , the only thing myself and the majority of the community didn't like was the faction contest , yes it did hold great rewards but it was way too much of a spend fest considering you aren't even guaranteed to get his shards anywhere else

Solo event was terrific, great rewards. Faction event being virtually spend only was very disappointing.

The Event was great in rewards but the Faction Event was very hard and only a cash Event

The Good:
- The showdown matchmaking was pretty good.
- The tours requirements were inclusive to a very large section of people. Making it a tag match helped it further.
- The bonus characters for showdown were easy to use and it is good to see the need for using a single character hundreds of times was scrapped.
The Bad:
- Technical incompetence. The tours bugged out and people were pretty much unable to do any matches and even when they did, did not get points from them at the start. Not to mention the fact the crap show surrounding the collection of showdown coins task not showing up and the supposed compensation of extending the collection of showdown coins task till Monday noon PST (which is how it was previously any ways so not sure how that helped)
- Bad communication. The Tours were advertised to give out 20 million coins at the start. That got changed to 2 million a few hours before the event started. The Sunday tour was advertised without mentioning any restrictions and the bonus characters were said to be any Roman Reigns and any Becky Lynch. It ended being a technician tour so those restrictions were not as open as they were originally touted. You had days to review the information being put out, yet the fact that this happened especially after you got all your content creators to gush about how great the tour looks just seems to be in bad faith if not outright abysmal communication skills.
- The variety in bag rewards, while the grab bags look good on paper and it makes sense that the probability of getting the featured character from them would be low, the fact that blitz tickets and medal bits are still included, especially in the gold bag, and in a measly amount that can be obtained way easily elsewhere keeps reiterating the lack of awareness or respect by Scopely on the efforts of the player base. Also while it is appreciable that a lot of people were able to acquire him over the weekend, at the end of the day, it was not an Erik showdown and the fact that the bags paid out only Erik shards most of the time was not totally ideal.
The Ugly:
- The faction event this weekend was pretty much a pay to participate one. Even worse was the fact that people who did pay were still not guaranteed to get any points they can contribute towards the faction contest. I know a business needs to make money and profit but pay to win implies you let the people willing to pay duke it out in the top leaderboard. Asking people to pay just to participate is not good. If this becomes the norm, there will eventually be a segregation with the top 10 factions demanding their members open up their wallets if they want to remain in the faction (assuming they don't already) and the game and the community as a whole will go down the drain when we reach that point

the positive the individual event and the prizes, negative, not very negative the faction event that was just to put money and not even make sure you punctuate, I found it unfortunate, compared to previous events

the solo event was very well laid out. The tours and showdown were not as restricted as in past events.
The faction event needed more. Strictly only getting snoop shards, that were near impossible to obtain was frustrating. It really alienated the players who couldn't spend, or limited on spending. Shards even if just a small amount could have been in solo milestones or tour bonuses.

was kinda not a great contest for snoop since it was basically a buy event and hope you get shards in order to get any where in the contest that was not a great idea since the odds of drawing the chase stars are so outrageous

SD/Solo Event: SD was showdown, No complaints here. Milestone pacing was very good. Often felt like I was on the cusp of another milestone and what could I do to hit that milestone.
Tours/Stipulation: Loved that the tours were tags where even if the bonus character wasn't leveled you could have them in second position and get the bonus. Very Player Friendly. Final Match rewards being HPs was nice because I could skip them, not sure how that aligns with internal goals and reward structure to have the "hardest" match have a lackluster reward. The Stipulation Matches was the first time I recall seeing these used in this way and was nice little bonus. (Recently returned player after a nearly a 2 year break)
Faction Event: Echo what I'm sure the common feedback is pure spend with no promise of progressing the milestones. The milestones that my faction did hit were very generous. Was at least rewarding in that sense if you had people spending and getting lucky.

About singles faction it was great, it was achivable, it was easy to reach the first molesto es, that is actually very helpfull
But talking about faction contest it was very hard see a lot of Players expend a good amount of money, and not getting a signle snoop's shard

This Showdown Tournament was pretty bad. Snoop Dogg shards were soooo hard to get. It was more of a spending event than anything which sucked. Made it sooooo hard to actually hit milestone and max out anything. Not everyone always has money to spend on events. The fact that snoop Dogg shards were sooo hard to get took the fun out of it. The last showdown Tournament was sooo much better this one pushed back progress.

The solo was fine. Was maxable without spending if you could afford the talent up. If more showdown events could be like this its better.
The faction event was abysmal. You want to have spend events, thats fine, but dont make them rng off the spend. My faction maxed the event and I still think it was horrible, the rewards were nice but not attainable to most. If there was a $100 pack with 25 snoop shards it wouldnt have brought anyone over the edge able to get him but would have helped the event by leagues. Or next time base it off loot pulls alone.

Scopely needs to stop treating these new characters like they are the president of the United States why I say that it's not one character that is undefeated in this game
Next when we have these weekend events yall forget about the mlc that we are doing no Evo tokens what so ever
I understand that scopely has to make money but dam

One more thing if scopely has to do these surveys each week this is some bs because scopely knows what we want we been asking for the same thing for years

This event was pretty good, I was able to max out the tours but wasn’t a big fan of the showdown event this time. I did pretty ok on the pulls getting closer to unlocking Erik with all the shards I won. The new Snoop Dogg character looks pretty cool and fun to have so hopefully one day I will get the chance to have him on my roster.

The event was a very mixed bag for me in terms of rewards it was extremely great solo and faction had a lot of resources
Solo contest was easy as the ccs were available to all. The increase in showdown coins is nice hope it stays that way
The tour was simple and the rewards were good, although false advertised do to the 20 mil coins mistake
The faction event was terrible only for spenders and even then the milestones were glitched, (managed to receive them after though)
The bugs in terms of not collecting showdown coins the first day even if it's a small amount adds up in terms of trying to reach a milestone
My biggest complaint is the bug I faced when facing opponents in showdown there will be times where I would face someone and everyone's health drops to 999 and the infinite red circle appears making me lose a match and waste health packs
So even though the concept was great I think the execution could've been better

The top milestone were hard to achieve in the individual event . Even when maxing out all sd coins and bonus points characters you had to spend either a lot of coins to level up characters or spend cash to hit top milestone . So even if your grind it was nearly impossible to max out . Also no shards for snoop? With a low recruit rate u either either got him Or not much at all. I was very disappointed when finally grinding the top milestone just to get a few coins n 2 straps. I felt like a wasted my time and didn’t achieve anything .
And with the faction event even with spending $$$ I only got 25k points . The % cash to point was way out in this event .
