Chase characters without spending
Is this even possible without hoarding for a few months?

I’ve never seen anyone get a chase character without spending. Typically the top milestones/rewards for almost anything worth getting, you have to spend for.

Without putting real money into it, it becomes a taskk where you have to dedicate yourself 24/7.

I look at it this way. You probably won’t get the chase character without spending but you’ll get a good amount of shards. I’ve been playing the game for a while and there a few characters I’ve been able to recruit by just waiting.

Not really. Unless you already have a massive roster and a lot of time, as a lot of it requires specific superstars etc. So unless you've already spent in the past, it's highly unlikely to make it now....

I was lucky enough to get Skull King HHH last month but not by collecting shards. I got him at 2 bronze from an extremely lucky pull. I had enough resources to take him to 4 bronze.

I've seen a couple of people get lucky with pulls and get the chase characters on different months. But to collect the 2k shards to recruit them is not possible with spending a lot of real cash I don't believe.
It really is set up for the whales. Most people don't have the requirements to do the matches to get the shards for them. And many of the ones who do haven't got them built up enough to complete all the matches needed to collect the shards.

It would be nice if the chase character was slightly easier to get especially without spending. I get that not everything is gonna be given away but slightly easier would be nice

Depending on the size of your current roster, if you have the correct required characters plus a strong active faction. If those stars align, I think it's possible.

I am F2P. In June, I got MOTU HHH after hoarding resources, mostly TP, for about three months. I took off July, August, and September (specifically saving for zombie month), save for some upgrades (Dango to 5SB just had to happen in September), and was able to get zHHH. I haven't had a big problem getting enough coins for a big blow out month, but TP is a big challenge to keep up and maintain.

Been playing for 3 years and haven’t got a chase character all year

I have been playing for 3 years and I have never once pulled a monthly chase character either from the events or from a pull I usually treat myself to a £20 pull around payday the best I ever got was Bruno at 4sb

There was change. I worked on smaller stuff behind the scenes. Leveling trainers for my primary characters, and if a MLC character was a decent trainer/coach, like Killian Dain's PH multiply gem reduction, taking him up to 7k without having to spend tokens was a must. I spare the TP for the free MLC characters and use shards and coins to level up projects and trainers when I don't go all out. And when I hit the point when I could get my first 5SB, I just went ahead and did it, maxing out the September kickoff talent up while sitting out the rest of the month. It's all strategy when you don't have unlimited resources.

It's possible, but not likely. I pulled an Earthquake out of a cheap coin pull the last week of his contest. Beyond that, I haven't come close to getting any of the chases, ever. Unless they were included after the fact. Or I was over-medicated and spent money (That's how I woke up one morning with Rhea Ripley).

I think you’ve got to spend a little bit but make sure it’s selective spending where you’re getting shards.

Is not so Easy... I think that chase characters are reachble only for top 3/5 factions... Others have to spend, but you're not sure to reach the Total amount of shards to recruit him/her or even to pick him/her in loot. 🤷🏽♂️

Doable but a high faction needed, and to get free guy to at 4 star gold is a must

I wish spending cash meant you got the spotlight wrestler. At least a 1sb would be nice. It takes a lot to build a character up strong anyways.

If you don’t want to spend, you need a top faction and a 24/7 game dedication. Also you must be lucky to have most of the characters required for the event.
Anyway I’ve been playing this game for some time, and I’ve been able to acquire some very good superstars just by doing well in some events...

Unless you want to buy the monthly superstar, you most likely won't get it.

Yep I have found that with out spending at lease $50 a month I won’t get any higher star cards

Need a top tier faction who will hit all Blitz events, if not then you will most prob need to spend a little sadly.
