Recycle or trade unused/unwanted items

I don’t know about everyone else, but there’s always some left over inventory from old contest or events that just sit and collect dust. I’ve had some stuff in my inventory for two years now for no good reason as they aren’t useful anymore once the event passes. There should be a way to trade in unused or unwanted items for coins, shards, or something of use. Doesn’t even have to be much. At least let us delete them. The same goes for rewards that you don’t or can’t claim. Give us the option of deleting or turning them down please! I just want to clear the clutter.
