JBL's Showdown Scrimmage(+Giveaway)

Overall, I thought that the event was okay. Faction event was easy to max.

Tours were not overly restrictive, and people could get far in the event.

The biggest gripe for me was the feast or famine nature of the JBL bags. People either got the card numerous times, or barely got enough shards to make it reasonable to try to pull for the rest of the shards.

finally, I’m glad that card was redone based on feedback. I don’t have him but makes him more desirable because of the update.

How can a person complete your contest and hit every milestone and be thousand shards away from the player. Sounds like it’s not a contest, but a money grab.

Contest was good. Great chance to grab him out of bags. Sadly i dont grab him... and somekind ridiculous that some players grabbed him 5x out of bags and some didnt get him at all.

Loots, like everytime, are a bad joke! For spending hundreds of $ no chance to get him or any other rare superstar. Mostly same usual characters and with a bit luck shards of the APA guys but only max 8 shards. Thats bullshit!

80% gets him for free and those who spend get kicked in the ass.

Loots for cash have to be more valuable or people just wont spend any longer their hard earned money.

Very mixed emotions on this event.

I’ll start with the elephant in the room…..people pulling JBL multiple times from bags & / or milestones. Literally hundreds of pics all over social media of this happening.

made me thinking about quitting the game due to how frustrating and unfair this seemed. There is no way this was randomisation.

A 2 star JBL would have been nice, instead I see people getting him 4 star bronze and 4 star silver in the same bag / milestone. Utterly ridiculous and demoralising.

What was good was the 3 tours, the addition of the final tour on Sunday gave some good rewards.

The tour requirements were fine too.

I thought the showdown requirements were ok but a little restrictive, all in all it was a typical showdown , can’t max it but didn’t really need too, loads of chances to pull from bags & milestones. Guess my luck just wasn’t in.

only other thing is that the faction event was over pretty quickly. Maybe more milestones to hit over the weekend.

its crazy how a lot of people pulled Bradshaw multiple times and I got the bare minimum of shards got to milestone 13 and with the tours I’m only sitting at 330 shards. Not to mention I had to waste 3 min coins to get there cause the highest SS I have is 5sb unleveled and I’m getting hit with nothing but 5ss and when I lover my defense I can’t even attack people back it’s ridiculous. And it’s funny how y’all Cater to the whales of the game with the required superstars only one I had was mankind SB

If you had all superstars it was obtainable with minimal spend. If not break out the wallet. Was attacked minimal and timer seemed to work well overall B+ score.

many of my faction pulled jbl, not I. The event at times was frustrating with the showboat as if my characters were closely matched everytime u played the board was stacked without gems to match however in colors needed no matter who and what skill set I matched up with. A tad frustrating so I stopped trying the event.

Generally good as can be expected. I was always going to be limited with a top superstar at 4 star gold player. However the disappointing thing was with the superstars that gave bonuses in solo. Mick foley was the only superstar that seemed to be widely available with limited how far you could go in the event.

Other than that I enjoyed it. The bags seemed higher chance of getting the character which did encourage me to work at the event although I didn’t eventually get them. Hopefully that can continue in the future.

other players got very lucky on the Bradshaw payouts. The randomness doesn’t seem to be quite fair. For the same milestones you would expect average payout levels of shards buy there is a huge mismatch. Lots of special characters which are hard to get in this one. Otis was a chase, jbl trick was a buy me or don’t get me character. Despite maxing the 15k per day I wasn’t even close to the final milestone. Only players with everyone seem to be able to maximise or those spend ridiculous amounts.

Could not enjoy the SD event fully. Game locked me out, in the end had to uninstall and install again.

Game also kept on crashing or not loading. Being in Europe seems everyone had been given multiple Bradshaw in a certain time frame and by the time I started was near impossible to get the character.

Contest was similar to others and I like the format. The SD is not as taxing as faction feuds which absorbs entire weekends, which I do not enjoy. The addition of the Sunday extra limited tour is great and I would recommend continuing. The only thing I would ask is for more choices in the SD contest to allow it to be easier or realistic to finish the contests. The last part is that the faction points where someone has to be lucky enough to not have the game glitch to not get shut out of the majority of the points in the first 15 minutes. It is unfair to people in competitive factions and can get us demoted based on timing and luck. Great job and thanks.

1. little effort in maxing the Faction Event

CONs:

1. too few milestones for the Faction Event and too few prizes
2. I'm pretty sure that the system is currently programmed so that players that lowered their defenses will appear less often, am I right? That's something very miserable...
3. The glitching at the beginning of the Tournament was appaling and affected only a few players, that's why faction tasks like "Win a showdown match with XXXXXX 10 times" shouldn't be a thing anymore...you either increase the limit, or get rid of them for good....or you have to guarantee us that there won't be issues like the above-mentioned one (not gonna happen, you can't, I already know)
4. Once you catch a cheater and ban him, he should stay banned for good
5. Very poor choices when it comes to Contest Superstars...not fair at all

Tried the best I can , I was suffering from the COVID and was that close (seriously) that close to die , but I still played for the chance to get the reward as I deserved ,

I got mls 14/16 and still was not able to recruit him. This event did now give much resources to get pass 14 milestone of the event and that is sad bc I even spend some money on this and still did not get him
