this game is just making me feel more and more ripped off. the loot pulls are more and more atrocious. pay money for double 5 t-shirt and 10 shards of the man. have to do something about the drop rates.

Hey @shaggymarc the odds for each section are displayed in the info button for each respective loot. I would suggest looking more into the odds before determining if you want to proceed for a chance at rare items. Thanks

I think our moderator only wanted you to help and understand the way our Loot works. We do understand that you feel frustrated when you don't hit the featured pool, but that is how these Loots are designed. You do need a bit of luck to get what you want. Sometimes the drop rates are more in your favor sometimes they aren't because we try to control the balance and saturation of Superstars, that's why the chances for specific Superstars are either higher or lower. And I think you agree with us when we set the odds a bit lower than usual for TOP Superstars, just to avoid that everyone runs around with a Hulk Hogan.
But to bring also a bit more context in this thread, could you please elaborate a bit on the Loot you were talking about? What did you get, what did you hope to get?

I appreciate that you try to address problems in the community and I understand that you probably don't have a lot of say in how the game works, especially on the business/revenue-generating side of things. However, I would like you to pass along a concern that I imagine pretty much the entire player base has: the unclear and often deceptive loot system.
I think everyone that has done a $100 pull in the past can agree that the odds in the loot are unclear at best and practically a scam at worst. Let me give an example. One of the loots this previous weekend (not sure which one) had what I think was a 2sb Apex Orton in the common section. This isn't the first time where a top tier character is advertised as common loot. However, I'm sure the real chance of pulling him is maybe .1% at most? Whatever it is, it is definitely less than common. Yet he's still in that section. Same thing goes with the featured section. We've all seen characters like NXT Seth, PH Roman, or other completely free characters in the featured section and more often than not, that 2% featured chance gives us one of those characters.
Another similar issue is the Equal Odds Loot. I remember a few months ago there was an Equal Odds Loot for the Bella Twins. I think it was set up so that you could get 5-100 shards or a 2sb, 3sb, or 4sb of the specific three wrestlers that were featured. Now, in my mind, Equal Odds means that every single option has an equal chance of coming up. However, the "equal" part meant that you only had an equal chance of getting a pull for one of the three wrestlers but the loot itself was heavily weighted towards the 5-10 shard range. Once again, very misleading.
What I think every single person can agree on is that we need EXACT odds for every single item listed in a loot. If I've got a 2% chance of pulling a featured wrestler but the specific wrestler I want has only a 1% chance of coming up in that featured pull, I need to know that. Likewise, if that "common" pull only comes up 1 out of every 1000 times, it's not "common." That makes the different rarity sections practically useless. Being any less clear is simply a dishonest business practice. I'll go ahead and ask straight out:
NAME ONE VALID REASON WHY YOU DON'T PUBLISH THE EXACT LOOT ODDS FOR EVERY SINGLE POSSIBILITY IN A LOOT?
I can only think of one: to get players to spend more than they would otherwise by fooling them into thinking that they've got a better chance of getting what they want than what they actually do. If you've got another reason then I would love to hear it.

If you increase the odds for pulling newer characters and more players do pull more new characters,chances are they will pay more money to do even more pulls for someone they want.Seems like a win-win in my book.Players have better luck pulling new wrestlers,company makes more with happier player base paying for better odds loot pulls

This is awful to have a free poster (Steph) & shards of a free poster in the "Featured" section only to rip u off if u do get lucky to hit a "Featured" poster in your pull.

They can’t respond to that perfect logic because it will lead them to show that it is all a scam to begin with. That is what these games all do, it isn’t new. Pick any game you want, and it’s the same, with different colors and characters. If you are doing a loot pull for a specific character, your going about this game the wrong way and it will only lead you to more frustration

I don’t understand why you don’t want the users who support your game to feel good after spending their money, I just dropped 60$ on 15 shards of an 800 character, 10 shirts, 2 two star +40 shards and a monthly dx pass that said it guarantees a 4 star superstar and 1100 coins as a sign up bonus. I did not get that guaranteed superstar or the 1100 coins. I’m sure most feel this way, I’ve gotten burned a few times so the likely hood of spending more money is low, if I felt like the loot pulls weren’t going to dribble out shit then the likelihood of spending money is high, we’re trying to have fun with your game.

What's also pretty funny is their internal language even says gacha. You'll notice it when it doesn't load the captions and instead shows the variables.
