NEW KOFI, OLD MP TRAINER

In addition to the affiliation strap for Akam, what about Akam gear? Also, will we get the replacement card at the same level as the Akam currently in inventory? What about the moves?

Based on what The Pac Man you'll have a 1 to 1 replacement of him in your roster.

If you owned the old Trainer already (or his shards), you would automatically find ALL-NEW Kofi Kingston “Power of Positivity” in your Roster!” That would mean level etc. As far as the Gear if you do have it then it should change."

Very interested in the affiliation strap transferring over whether it's modern showboat or akam specific. That not happening would be a slap in the face to players.

Hi there, just letting you know that I am a passionate WWE Champions gamer for nearly three years.

In all that time, I have had to deal with all sorts of issues experienced by many people, but unlike some people who like to hurl abuse and invective at the Support team Scopely for anything they don't like, I on the other hand would prefer to accommodate those issues and would on occasions defend Scopely for the actions they take against those abusers and haters.

So in other words, I am as fairweather a player as you would expect, I am appreciative, respectful to anyone and expect the same in return.

I am also a Co-Leader of the Golden Fireflies faction and I am highly respected among my own peers.

So believe me if I ever criticise Scopely it will be done respectfully, and hope you do read this and respond in the respectful manner that it deserves.

So with regards to the new Kofi Kingston character that replaces the Akam character... please DO NOT DO THIS TO ANOTHER CHARACTER AGAIN.

I have worked extremely hard for my roster. I have put my heart and soul into it. I am proud of what I have achieved so far. It is because of my roster that I identify with it, and it with me.

So any changes done to my roster, without prior consent through notification, and a period of time for the acceptance of those changes, is wrong and needs to stop.

I accept the fact that ultimately, my roster is not actually mine.

My roster is actually yours. It's Scopely's!

I accept that this means that you can do whatever you want to it, regardless of whether we like it or not.

Now admittedly this new Kofi character is better than Akam. I think that you are doing this with all good intentions.

But I urge you to STOP, because you are setting a dangerous precedent.

By doing this, and if I don't object to this, these changes won't stop with Akam.

If I don't object to this, you can then do the same with Rezar.

Then you can do it with Rusev.

Then Dean Ambrose.

And Chris Jericho.

And Sting.

And Samoa Joe.

And Karl Andersson and Luke Gallows.

And even Daniel Bryan.

And anyone for that matter who is not part of WWE, whether they leave acrimoniously or not.

How long is that piece of string guys??

And my roster will have completely changed from the one I had before in months or years to come.

Like I said, my roster identifies me, and me my roster. Changing my roster in this way threatens my identity, and the pride I feel when I develop it. It is the very reason why I keep playing. Changing it this way is like my roster is no longer mine anymore. I can't own it.

But why stop there?

If you don't like me, you can sabotage my roster by replacing my good characters with bad ones.

Or if you really do like me, you can enhance my roster by replacing my bad characters with great ones.

Now, before you introduced the new Kofi Kingston character, the possibilities that you could introduce in a roster would have been UNTHINKABLE.

The problem we now have is you have created that precedent.

In my opinion, that precedent is dangerous and scary.

Please DO NOT REPLACE characters. Add them instead!

Just because you have the right to do whatever you want with our roster, it doesn't make it right!!

I'm honestly confused why anyone is opposed to reskins when the only alternative is that the card becomes unavailable.

You like Sunny Dhinsa (Akam) so much that no one else in the game deserves to have the yellow mp trainer?

I guess for me, I've long ago divorced the notion that the picture on the front of the card is what has the value, its the attributes on the back of the card that is important. So in this case, I dont care about Enzo, I dont care about Akam, and I dont care about Kofi...I care that I have the yellow mp trainer who has a solid self-healing ability when I use him in matches. After that, I wouldn't care if it was Barry Horowitz (actually that would be great!).

I am pissed off about wolfpac Sting, but not because it was wolfpac Sting, its because I want that card and have invested years worth of showdown coins in trying to get it. So slap Louie Spicolli on that card and get it back in circulation.

Clearly I look at this differently than others.

See my previous comment. I actually don't care two hoots about Akam. I really don't.

This is where you missed my point which means you need to read my argument in its entirety.

That is because Akam is just the start, the insignificant, tiny, little, teensy weeny character of things to come.

You need to look at the big picture and see the possibility that at some time in the future, that massive changes can occur to your roster without your consent.

Whether you like it or not, whether it's going to happen to your most insignificant characters, or your most liked characters or your most hated, the truth is no one will be spared.

Call me a pessimist. Call me an alarmist. Tell me that wholesale replacements to every character that has left WWE and joined rival promotions will never happen.

But until they started doing that to Akam, you can never rule that out. Regards, K

I read your entire post. It was unconvincing. The real issue here is sometimes Scopely loses the rights to feature likenesses of various individuals. You would prefer newer players have no access to the yellow mp trainer?

I know that, man. But we both know that not just a couple of guys are no longer with WWE. And Sting is one of them! But maybe I shouldn't worry about Sting because scopely already made a second red MP trainer. So now all new and old players are able to get one. So maybe I shouldn't worry about it. And I hope that guys like Sting, Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy will stay in this game. Because my approach to this game is completely opposite to @DrWhargoul's. And I don't care about getting top tier character, or top trainer/coach if I don't like him as a wrestler, or if I don't like the character. I only evolve and chase characters which I like and want to play for.

I hope they all stay in the game. K

Woke up today to the shock that my Akam aka Fat Enzo aka Fnzo belt has been removed from my New Kofi and from my inventory as a whole.

So while I was able to put Akam on 2 different people, Kofi I can not.

I was under the impression the belt would not be removed from Kofi.

Considering the fact that I spent money to win the Akam belt from some loot, I'd appreciate the belt returned, or a Kofi 2 trainer belt provided.
