I feel like this SD was really good! The two chances to score with the two solo contests where really good as well. I also noticed I wasn’t getting attacked every 1 min which really helped. This showdown really made me feel like we got rewarded for playing. Until yesterday it didn’t feel like we got rewarded enough for playing all weekend. I really hope to see SD stay like this for a while.

I’m loving how much the community manners looking out for the champions community lately, kinda give us more of a reason to come together and support the game more

i do think this is a major issue that needs to be fixed. I shouldn’t be going against anyone with 10k more talent and that happened a lot this weekend. Other than that I liked it a lot

Overall, I thought that the event was okay. The solo showdown was nice because it rewarded those for maxing a day of SD.

I don’t like that maxing the other solo event most likely needed all characters, but I get it. The RNG on the shard bags though do nothing to make me chase at the end because in most cases, I still need over 1000 shards.

The faction event relied too much on winning the bonus characters. 100 wins per faction member is a lot considering that you don’t have to win 100 matches to max SD.

The tours were fair, no real issues with those in my book.

I'd say the showdowns are getting better. I would say to move the contest under the solo contest to the main page. I missed it last time and it would've helped my progress in the main contest a ton.

Showdown matches are running smoother. Whatever recent changes were made, they seem to be the right ones.

I like the new SD System not getting attacked during every battle is refreshing and easier to build notoriety.

I think feuds could be improved maybe better leaderboard rewards more often then shards of people most of the community already has.

Also something that could be Improved is briefcase pulls you put solid characters in there like Rezar for example but there's a low chance of getting them so maybe increase the odds of getting somebody useful.

It would be nicer to get a lot closer to unlocking a character released during a showdown if you really grind it out. I hit most of the milestones and only ended up with under 500 of 2000 shards. If you want to unlock the character when it is released I do think it is fair that you'd have to spend but maybe of the character is featured in another contest in the future and you put the same effort into it then you should be able to get the remaining shards.

At first, I was unimpressed with the contest superstars, because 90%+ of the contest superstars were male in a male/female showdown. This would make it very difficult to get most of those points, but because of the changes you made to the matchmaking system, it allowed for decent time to change to those stars when I found an opponent I could beat with them. I was disappointed that there was no way without spending hundreds of dollars to max the event, but I did enjoy the addition of the showdown coin sub-contest to help with the points in the main solo showdown contest.

My main gripe with the game is the notoriety, it seems to go very slowly. Winning a Showdown match only leads to +2 notoriety on average. A loss leads to -36 notoriety on average.

With that being said, the pace of upgrading superstars has gotten much faster, which is great.

    Hi guys

As always, the game is very good, the truth is that the updates are very good and more and more chances of getting a new fighter.

What I would like to suggest is that in the daily bags they put different fighters also with the fragment, also increase the coins more in the Undertaker Tour, the coins in the game are very scarce.

One thing to help improve would be a better way to use the gear chips. I have a ton but can almost never find a wrestler to use them on. When I do it’s 100k cash in addition to the gear chips. Maybe increasing the gear chip need and lowering or an alternate to cash would help. Additionally a search or sort for who has available gear for purchase with the gear chips. Thanks for the consideration

I did see some improvement in this showdown Tournament which is a good thing. Shows some positive improvement when getting opponents to fight. I did do pretty good this time around so happy about that. Did not get Rocky which was a disappointment.

Overall this was a really bad event, the only good aspect of this entire weekend wasn't part of the event itself and was the Showdown Tournament, which once again worked well. But i'll do a break down on every aspect to make it clear.

Solo event: Final milestone had the biggest reward portion and was impossible to reach without spending or having all rare characters. This is a major negative aspect because it makes people simply give up and stop playing, it kills any interest people may have. This time it didn't had anything special as final rewards, just resources and bags, so there was no reason at all to make it really tough to get. Also, it would be better if rewards were spread across all milestones and not focused on one single milestone, and that has been the tone of events lately, which is really bad.

Faction event: Impossible to max. The grind required plus the bonus CSS on tours were simply out of reach for all factions. Easily the worst aspect of this weekend. If you had a guaranteed Rocky Johnson at the final milestone i'd understand, otherwise no. I don't think the idea was bad but it needs a lot of work. Something that could have made it better would be if you had 2 Maivia/Anoai characters, then you'd get 2 wins towards the event, but it only recorded 1. But that's just one aspect, every area needs to be tuned if you want to run it again in the future.

Showdown challenge: Good event in general. Maybe a slight increase in resources would have made it great. Would have been a good spot to throw some extra TP/Coin credit items, maybe a bag with 10-50 credits.

Tours: Nothing special there. I like the 1 node idea but instead of shards, i'd have thrown Rocky Johnson bags. Bronze to Gold. Would have been better. Could have been a lot better.

Loot: Once again we spent to get characters or shards offered for free in briefcase and silver loots. Common section should be revamped to feature equal odds on shards from the "rare" weekend requirements. And if you want to put characters like NXT Roman, Acro Naomi for example, it should be 4S+ rarity.

The game is getting better. I enjoy playing it daily. The contest are fun. I like that we can earn new characters and they are reachable.

I much prefer this format of a showdown contest. I liked the contest points for maxing both days of showdown, and the rewards for the solo contest were really good. I would very much like this format going forward, however, the contest superstars required was brutal. If you want to keep those mega rare superstars as contest superstars then maybe you should reroll the epic shard chests we get every week. When the mlc changes you could put shards for the past mlc characters in it. I love the game and will continue to play it as long as it’s around, I know you are a business but if you make the game purely pay to win, it shouldn’t be thousands that you have to spend. I can understand grinding 8/10-9/10 of a contest and then maybe you have to spend 20,30,40 dollars to top it off, but just for an example, the rock solo contest I would’ve had to spend $2,000 after doing everything I possible could do to earn points. Also I believe not a single faction could max the faction event and I think that says something as well. I know you guys and gals work hard so keep up the good work! Like I said I love the game and I think it’s going in the right direction, format wise, but the money required to get anything done has become unreasonable. Thank you for your time!

Think it was a positive spin on a showdown weekend event. Having the showdown challenge sub event be based off showdown coins earned rather than an arbitrary number of matches was very nice. Gave flexibility to reach milestones and then have additional time to still use on other aspects of the game. Points from talent up actually were very impactful for this event as well.

Faction event seemed kind of difficult, but perhaps that was just an impact of the difficulty of getting contest superstar points on a lot of the tours. Those were either extremely rare or common but not usually upgraded characters.

I enjoy this game but I'd like to see a pvp in real time. Because now we have to fight against somebody's defense but it would be really fun to face the opponent live

  • Well where can i start with this

1, the overall contest with showdown has improved largely, after so many weeks with numerous problem and are grateful for the improvements

2, rewards in solo contest was very welcomed and seemed rather fair with the grind that it comes with basically rewarding the players that do love the game and will put a bit of work in to get this rewArds

3, faction contest was a let down as there was alot more RARE characters needed, i agree with big points for rare characters but there does not need to be that many for the contest, could of just done it as using common stars more times so that again player base that does like to grind happily grind it out for the rewards necessary

4, the tours that came with the contest was nice and happy that was just 1 battle per difficulty but to have the bonus characters as the rare cards to get your solo contest progress was a kick in teeth

overall i give this weekend a 7/10, great improvements although small tweaks would make this the best contest in the game again

    1) the SD event as far as less 5ss, for the most part fair match making chances, and less coin spent refreshing was nice.

    2) 8 million was nice but the fact you only gave 10 points per coin and only 2000 per coin spent was a joke!

    3) the loot was a joke $300 you didn’t give me one feature. That’s not even accurate percentages that’s a joke

    4) not enough points for using certain characters. The common should have had more points, allow people to max through grinding and some money. Not spending there whole paycheck.

    5) change percentages of bag pulls, the fact I usually get to almost the final milestone in most events and yet to have ever pulled the weekly character from a bag is beyond absurd!

+The actual showdown itself was a great improvement over the past ones

+The secondary solo event that revolved around SD coins was a nice addition

+The rewards in the standard solo event were a nice increase compared to some recent events. The increase in 4ss tokens, coin and TP was great.

-The milestones in both the faction and standard solo contest were to extreme. I believe in any event 1-5% of the player base at minimum should be able to complete the goals and reach the top milestone.

-The faction event was severely lacking in any valueable rewards at all for the achievable milestones

-The milestones in the solo event need tweaking, I understand having the last step being the most valuable but having such huge gaps between the steps and needing to spend hundreds AND having a huge quantity of ultra rare superstars to even have the chance to spend those hundreds/thousands to max the event is counter productive.

In general the goal should be to increase player motivation/retention and have people playing as long as they can and feeling good about the results they earned for the weekend. The high spenders will always pay alot for pulls to get the weekend chase. You set the leaderboard rewards accordingly and have that be the target of the big spenders. You set the milestone rewards as a dedicated player reward. If people feel they can contribute and get close to maxing an event then they will be more likely to spend that last hundred dollars or so to max it. It will also reward your players for their effort and make them feel accomplished and more likely to continue to grind and play. Daily engagement is key and providing a reason for that will grow the app more.

I have noticed that un the last 2 showdown events that the opposition doesn't necessarily match the same tier as what I am currently on. Also may be nice to level events and dailies to current league and scale rewards as such.

    Pro:

Never had a problem finding and selecting an opponent.

Also, I loved that the solo event had a bunch of tp of one color. It gets to be a lot when we upgrade someone to 5sb and have to come up with about 1500 tp of the same color to get them ready for silver

Con: a lot of people have brought up the unreachable final milestone in the faction event, and it's pretty bad. Seriously, the top faction is still 1.5 million points away.

The problem with this, is that you top-loaded the Roman shards, putting 70 out of 75 shards in that unreachable milestone. With one week left, as everyone is trying to finish unlocking the chase character, you give us 5 shards for our weekend's efforts? Not good.

The game as a whole is getting better. The few changes I feel would really push the game forward would be to reskin characters that no longer work for wwe. Then also another change would be to be able to combine superstars that you have multiples of e.i. striker, powerhouse, acro triple h into one version of the character and then using the gear or skin if you will as a modifier. The rocky johnson event was pretty good in my opinion, I missed maxing both contests but had the chance to do so.

    1) This SD was a step in the right direction. I liked the fact that the solo showdown contest could be maxed out by just playing the showdown. The solo rewards were actually very rewarding. Also not being attacked every 3 minutes was refreshing as it gave me a chance to break over 500 notoriety.

    2) I still think that showdown should be broken down by leagues with rewards scaled to each league. It makes it very difficult to progress when you hit a wall in showdown with nothing but 5SS opponents at around the 500 notoriety level.

    3) The Soul man solo contest was good and rewarding but not great just yet. Majority of the required superstars were rare superstars and that made it that much more difficult to come close to the last milestone which gave out the 5mil coins and 5000 black TP that could be useful to all the players. Giving 10 points per showdown coin was kind of a letdown considering other contest have given more for them. Also the milestone bags still feel very unrewarding. I have a little over 500 shards for Rocky Johnson after hitting the second to last milestone and I feel he will stay at that for months if not years to come along with majority of the superstars that are released every weekend.

    4) Faction contest was not the best. The rewards that were achievable looked horrible and majority of the good rewards were behind unachievable milestones. Maybe in the future make faction contests more engaging for all members in a faction to participate and work together to achieve milestones that can benefit everyone.

    5) I didn't even bother with the loot this time as it included 2 star bronze posters of superstars that can be obtained either in silver loot or key pulls. If the loot included low star rarity of the featured superstar or all required superstars for the contest at a realistic achievable odd or in the common section then I would be more incline to pay for the loot.

    6) The limited time tour was good as the 1 node makes it easy to complete but a good suggestion would be to make the LTT more fun and time worthy by making each node or nodes challenging but rewarding with good amount of TP's or even a 1-2 star rarity of the required rare superstars poster. I would attempt to play and complete challenges for the Limited time tour

    6) Overall the contest had good and bad parts. Thanks to the team for working hard to better these contest for all players and looking at the feedback that we as players provide.

It was really good event and also excited too about give away firum. But task to achieve at point 8 to 10 takes too much efforts /points to maximize the events..

Daimonds aslo to be added in events as before it has been..so can have some Good prizes..

Need to fix issues with the game and make the game equal for all game players better coins and cash but I like the game .

  • Paul445523
    Paul445523 Member

The event was better. There is a major issue with the faction event. The fact that no faction will be within a million points of the top milestone means something is off with the calculations. Having 2 featured characters only counted once, when they should have each earned a point is probably part of the issue.

I guess the good thing is after months of the bar being so low, there is only room for improvement. Hoping you start reading all the good ideas in the forum.

The Showdown fix was great, worked like a charm. There are a few changes I would like to suggest. The first one is to have some variety to the matches for the deadman dailies. Have it instead of undertaker every single day, a different set of character. One day it can be Cena, another day Orton, maybe HHH. There are many characters that have variety of types wo make them an option for the deadman daily tour. Another change I would suggest is to have everything available in loot boxes (in game cash, hof tokens, strap metals parts etc.).
