The inflated price of shards... just shards
I am of the perception that superstars you personally want, are impossible to obtain. 10 Rhea Ripley shards cost 400 WM unleashed shirts. Along with that, the new ‘icons of WM’, 5 icon Orton shards are 2500 showdown coins. I know that good things take time, but I think it can be less costly to in turn be achieved in a shorter term. Just lower the cost of the shards.

Hello @DariusMarc Rhea is a premium superstar similar to others on the prizewall which is why the cost is higher to obtain additional shards to recruit. The icons of WM is meant to be a long term play so it's not intended to grab them all ASAP but rather to spread it out so you have a chance to work on all of them long term. Thanks

I would, without hesitation, trade a poster that I don’t use or didn’t want for Rhea Ripley. I’d revoke my Striker Chyna poster and/or shards for a Rhea Ripley poster/shards. I’d do that even for Male characters.

How long does the team expect it to take the average player to obtain one of these superstars? 3 months, 6 month, 1 year, etc? What should we be aiming for/expecting? A few months, a year, more?

I'm so sorry you're wrong! you will be late the medium players, should make the chances equal for all the superstars! Premium shouldn't exist!
You only favor the most advanced players and those who spend the most!
You are right, it will take us years to get there, they will be outdated and forgotten ......

It will vary by player. Each player has options on where to spend resources for SD coins, faction store, etc. These won't be contest superstars or requirements but only boosts so there shouldn't be FOMO and each player can decide at their own pace

All players have the same odds at getting new superstars. You are free to spend or play at your own pace as well.

I might add, there are plenty of events that have shards (or even posters) of characters that individual players want but cannot get them. I’ll use two as an example. On January 1, I got Lucky when I got 15 best of 2020 medallions for a 4SG Adam Cole poster. I got 360 shards from his debut contest. I have not earned one shard since. And about 9 months pass since Keith Lee debuted, I’ve earned 72 shards. And I’d trade shards of other rare superstars for Keith Lee shards or a poster.
