[Update 0.49] Stipulation Tour: Color Clash

Mostly really like it. The strategy is fun and having to think a bit to maximize points is interesting. One thing I really don’t like is the leaderboard. Spending to take first is something every other game mode already has... Can’t we have one that doesn’t??

There's parts of it I like (how it emphasizes playstyles more than traditional damage/defense and how it's another thing to add to the routine), but there's a lot dragging it down - the fact that pins at all count for turns, meaning that a bad cascade or the AI taking liberties with you cuts the already very limited number of turns in half. There's also the simple fact that if you don't have a good board to start with, you might as well just quit out and enjoy zero rewards for the day - I failed the first match on normal because apparently something as simple as a purple match was completely out of the question, and I couldn't get off any moves at all.
Also, if you're going to make so many random characters that normally aren't useful in any other ways required for bonuses (and in turn high scores that likely can't be reached without them) start giving us more coins so we can level more than one character up at a time. The same thing applies to the faction expeditions - I'm not levelling up Shane to 13K just to get another item from an expedition. Thankfully the enforcers used are pretty much all common/uncommon characters, unlike expeditions (when's the last time we were able to get Rowan?).
EDIT: A few more days with it and I've still warmed up a bit to it. It does require an expansive roster to do well in though, and maxed out enforcers still seem required to 3-star anything in Hell mode unless you've got someone with insane generation (like, 12+ gems per move). I think the rewards are about right considering you get a free run for each difficulty, and I do like another source for gaining mid-high rarity tokens. I'd still say that the issues mentioned are present, but I haven't had a situation where I just stalled out and gotten zero moves off since the first day.
EDIT 2: Man, it's amazing how a single bad run can completely kill all of my goodwill with a mode! I've had multiple cheap losses and an entire run where I didn't get a single yellow match for any match since the last edit because again, a bad board can kill a run dead unless you're pumping very rare and valuable props into the works, and even then that's typically not enough to 3-star anything on hell. I'm not spending cash on a mode that barely gives out anything to begin with just so I can spend more coins trading people around (This mode in particular made me absolutely loathe the trainer system and the fact that it's being band-aided by straps of all things) and then get ANOTHER bad board and lose again. I can't imagine how terrible the marquee tours are going to be where you spend months gathering enough credentials for those and then you lose in the first match and that's multiple weeks or months down the drain.

It takes a lot of time to maximize points which could be good or bad. It requires investment in trash characters to maximize points which is something nobody wants to do. At this point it's hard to tell if it's worth it because no idea what special you can get from the store or the cost of it. The leaderboard shouldn't be cumulative points it should be best score per run. Some days will be a nightmare such as a black or red days will be heavily focused on no pin bar movement guys and the leaderboard will be whoever sits there for hours in one match..

Mode seems highly dependent on shuffling trainers around and that's just one more drain on coins for what so far doesn't seem like much of a "reward".
I dislike shuffling trainers around as it is so a mode that requires even more of it is kind of a turnoff.

I Usually don’t like Writing anything on any kind of social media but this new mode is awful. I’m very disappointed. I’ve played it three or four times and I have lost all. If you have to waste in game cash to even play a Match, I will not be participating in this. I’ve seen a lot of negativity about this new color mode and it’s not even funny. At first it was exciting hearing about getting another mode to the game to play but losing every single time and being forced to use cash to even play a match is wrong. I understand you get six turns but on the very last turn when you win they roll you up and you automatically lose. So unless something changes and you don’t have to spend cash with this ,I will not be playing this color mode. The Worst add- on to the game ever. And to Pay in game cash to try again is beyond ridiculous. I will not waste cash to play a single match. Should be Free!!! Very disappointed and a big let down. No one should have to pay.

Worst update yet.
5-star 17k character gets beaten by a single star one.
in three moves.
they don’t even max out a move, we do t even get to kick out?
and it costs us 100% of the characters life? We’re talking what? 100 every loss?
this is the biggest rip off add-on so far. What a fraud.

Yesterday it was pretty easy to go through hell with Otis. What i figured out today is that the necessity to do certain fights with females is tricky. My female roster is not strong enough. Lacey was the only one generating blacks. But if you dont hit yellow she is unable to win and game over. Let alone to reach 3 stars in hard mood. Farooq apa on the other hand would have easily maxed every battle (but only got a few chances thanks to Lacey).
its absolutely crucial to use good trainers on most wrestlers. This will be pretty expensive if you consider that a 5* trainer is 100k coins to change back and forward. Im not yet sure if thats worth it since im pretty sure Lacey would have had problems to reach 3* even with best trainers (but bad board). It only makes sense if you can be quite sure to reach hell mode and also win a few matches there.

So what is your take on these new daily tours?
I was excited the first day. Now after three days of it not so much anymore.
You get 3 turns (total of 6, but 3 are used by the opponent) in order to make 1 match of the color you need. Board is not always generous, so you end up using props in order to fill the move that generated the gems you need. In 3 turns there is no way to wait for the gems to drop down.
There is a continuous alternating between male fighter and diva, so a continuous swapping of trainers. A big use of coins.
If you lose you have to pay in-game dollars to retry. Which is a lottery, because you might end up at the very first match with a board hostile to you, thus you lose again.
Personally I see it as, a fun 5 minutes to spend in a free tour, but not worth wasting resources on it.

Where are the rewards for the stipulation tour located

It seems like it's board dependent sometimes. I've lost matches because I couldn't fill moves in the time limit due to a lack of gems to match.

If you have the right fighters it can be really great. Im lucky to have Conneticut Blueblood and Lana for the purple tours. They gave me altogether 7,500 of those cc-coins which can be used for 2 4*-tokens. I used like 50,000 coins to equip the right trainers and a few ghps. With Otis it was also easy to get a lot of cc-coins in the yellow tour.
on the other hand i was quite helpless in the black tour since Lacey is the only useful female in my roster there. And then it was truly very board-dependent.

The 3 hour window you provided to use shirts is completely and utterly ridiculous. For those of us who were waiting to collect the final faction rewards so that we could spend our shirts on higher valued ticketed items are sadly out of all of our tickets. It is a disgusting business practice you have where you mark CLEARLY AND CONCISELY how long is left to PURCHASE MONEY ITEMS but leave ambiguity in how long you have to claim items using shirts. Good job ostracizing your free to play customers. I'm sure they are delighted by all their wasted hours of game play. Your business lacks integrity and whoever it is that made the decision to remove the shirt store in this manner should be reprimanded heavily. This is not the way to run a business, and quite frankly, I think many PAYING CUSTOMERS, myself included will stop playing this game. Do better Scopely, you greedy, dishonest, money grabbing, callous, and incompetent company.

I don't mind the tour not bad, it's a challenge. I woundering you guys have plans on putting more tokens on ...maybe not have them at ridiculous price or put items in there that are hard to get, maybe a random gear a day.

I don,t like Color Clash at all.. I found it annoying, too confusing and a waste of time.
1 -
Could you elaborate on this? where are you seeing a 1 star beat a 5 star? This seems unrelated to the stipulation tour.
0 -
I don't understand the way my roster gets pinned and unable to kick out with barely any health missing.
1 -
I get the same issues usually on third match in normal mode and first match in hard mode.

Question - we are just testing this modes for something better right? New modes are great, new modes that are not very good are not.

You guys come up with plenty of dumb ideas, this one easily has to top them all!! Scopley should be paying us just to deal with them!!

This mode has some major weaknesses which should be addressed.
First thing is, you really need a superstar who can spam a lot of color gems in every color. Due to the 3 rounds you got you need this color gems every turn to have a chance to 3 star. Unless you own a 1mp move spam charakter you will struggle with a bad board.
You need to switch the essential color gem generator trainer a lot to play 1 round. (male to female to male to female etc.) With bad luck you need to switch the mp trainer as well. This makes the whole mode very expensive for coins.
You need to pay cash to restart again when a bad board rips you off.
As reward you can get some token. That is totally not worth the coin or cash in my opinion.

Include coins and tp to the stipulation tour shop and I MAYBE might be interested. Because the current shop items are trash... I have enough tokens and not spending them on tickets to play this trash tour

Would really like to be able to switch between male and female like the daily color tours.

I like the color clash and enjoy it. The only thing I would change is being able to choose either male or female fighters. Since this is a new way of playing the game, many people’s rosters are not directed towards this new game mode. Depending on the color clash tour, I have either a more ideal male character I’d like to use, or female. Being able to switch between the two will allow me to participate in more color clash tours. I think that this will also help many other WWE Champion players and make them more willing to spend more time on the color clash tours.
