Already logged in
The game won’t load in my browser.
Chrome: when I first come to the page, a get a red warning at the top of the screen which says I’m logged in somewhere else.
The game stays stuck at 0% on the load screen and does not progress.
Safari: game “loads” but then says I’m logged in elsewhere and bounces me out.
in both cases, I’ve exited the game on my phone. iOS doesn’t have an option to “close” the game other than to force quit it (which is not a solution, and even if it was, it doesn’t work—I tried).

Thanks for the reply. I can maybe see how you got confused here, and I don't want to come across as rude, but… it's kinda brutal 2/3 of my message was completely disregarded and you assumed I was using a mobile device.
Not the first time I've encountered that on this board. It's a troubling trend.
I'll say it again, but differently:
DESKTOP BROWSERS — CHROME/SAFARI:
The game doesn't load because it says "Server Error: Session no longer active. You may be logged in on another device." The only other place I can be logged in is on my phone. Even if I force quit the app on my phone I still get the error.

When I get the red you're logged in message I fix it by tapping the url and hitting enter to refresh the page. Usually it either logs me in or asks me to login to facebook. That's for chrome I haven't used safari.

Doesn't work for me. The progress bar literally stays a 0% on Chrome (Mac) — the game refuses to load at all.
Safari loads and then gives me the login error. @Firpo @Stagger Lee

Yes. Same result @Firpo.
Hanging 0% load in Chrome (Mac desktop)
Full load on Safari (mac desktop) - received error with being logged in elsewhere.
In both browsers I'm able to load my connection to the store and to the faction chat, the non-load is exclusive to the game.
I cycled my FB and Apple Gamecenter logins to make sure I had a fresh connection and - same result.

Hello again @BigBaddyDaddy the web contests are only for collecting items via the portal. The gameplay portion of it can happen in the web portal or android/Apple device app versions.

It seems it is a Mac OS Big Sur issue, since I upgraded, playing online via portal has not worked

We are sorry that you are struggling with playing the game on wwechampions.com, and we try to find a solution for you. There is no need to call the Board team out here. When there is news, we will share it with you.
Could you please try to activate the "cross-site tracking" in Safari and see if it works?
Also, you are using macOS Big Sur, which is an issue here, because the game can't run on Chrome there. That is a macOS issue, but once we updated our Unity version it should be supported.

@Firpo On the contrary: a response within 3 weeks is not an unreasonable request. If it's a known issue that an update (which in the works) will address, communicating such is all one can ask for. If there's no news but an investigation is ongoing, that's worthy of a reply as well.
I manage a community of 5,000+ people and know the challenges and sense of entitlement some have – I also know how lucky I am to have a passionate following so I'm mindful of the dance that exists between the distance that is "[bleep] you" and "thank you" that is constantly needed to be managed.
If valid criticisms of your process are unwelcome in future, I'll gladly take note of that as well.

FYI: Cross site tracking was already activated in Safari. I turned it off and am able to load there now. 👍️
