No one is saying those who lucked out should be penalised, what we are saying is those who lucked out, and then got further rewards is a disgusting disgrace, a terrible showing and an absolute embarrassment from scopely

@Firpo so in other words you all made another mistake what a surprise. 🙄 why not make things right and send out 4k shirts to all that didn't get the 40k? Should be way more however, 4k would be better than nothing. It won't cause financial problems for the company however, a strong lawsuit will just saying 🤷♂️

Tbh if they actually gave a damn about the players they would make it 10k as that’s what they left the lucky ones with, but 4K is better than nothing.
This fiasco has shown that actually they don’t give a damn about the players at all.
Never known a game developer care so little about the community their game has created.

I agree I don’t understand how that worked out and they should give 10k to everyone at minimum for a little fairness. But just like retail stores if they have the wrong price they will honor it but change it immediately and not give anyone else the same price unfortunately. I hope all gets resolved in a way that everyone is happy 😃

Sadly I doubt it, this has shown scopely don’t give a damn about the community, and the mods and managers here have drank so much Kool-aid they don’t give a damn about the community either

I can confirm, I got the 40k shirts, spent them, and I haven't seen any kind of rollback.
100% not trying to rub this in anyone's face and I genuinely feel bad for the people that missed out, but let this be a lesson to the community when Scopely screws up like this again - grab whatever you can and make sure to spend it in a way they can't easily roll it back. If it feels unfair to you, just remember all the other times Scopely screwed you. This is just you screwing back.
Or you could be smart and quit this POS mess of a game, but let's face it, none of us still playing are that smart.

@Firpo appreciate all that you do. You can never make everyone happy and as this forum shows there will always be a group to complain. In the end the words of "Be nice to each other" never ring truer. The community needs to relax. Appreciate the hard work you and the dev team do!

Sorry but if this mess, after the most botched weekend event, followed by a mistake, followed by compensating those who benefiting from the mistake followed by another mistake, followed by ignoring the community, is the result of hard work, then we got the wrong people doing the work, different people are needed to do the work and a changing of the guard needs to happen

@Firpo are you doing anything to prevent the players that got the 40,000 shirts, Plus the extra compensation from placing on the leaderboards and getting additional rewards they truly did not earn? What you generally fail to realize is the complete impact of your error and how significantly it impacts the balance of the game with your reward structures. You have created a major imbalance, your furthered the imbalance, and the leaderboard rewards are just the cherry on top. You know who did and didn’t collect the 40k shirts and during a celebration event I would expect you to actually attempt to make the player base happy. Yet, somehow all you have managed to accomplish is to alienate 90% of your players and ignore what we are saying. Happy championsversary, aye? Why not send something to the rest to always make an attempt, you know effort, to make us happy instead of just putting your nose up?

And yes I think people should be losing their job over this. Messes like this kill games. This is a complete mess can never happen again, and people who facilitated this, and those who defend it, should be fired, and new people brought it. This mess can never be allowed to happen again.

I dont know man, once it goes live I think you just have to bite the bullet and honor what you put out there. It's not like it's some sort of tangible good.
Then in damage control you put out another error that you have no intention to honor either. Not a good look.

@Craig249126 you really believe people should be losing their job over free t-shirts in a game? You would like to see children at home be without food because you didn't get 40,000 free t-shirts. You sir are what the problem is in the world today. Your mindset and logic is toxic and this game would be better off if you found a new game to play. Firpo and the dev team do great work.

Since we are making this game into a real life thing lets talk about a real life sitaution.
You go to a gas station and the cost of unleaded gas in 2.09 a gallon. When you are filling up you notice the gallons moving really fast. The clerk messed up and set the gas to .209 a gallon. You fill up your tank of gas, you call 10 buddies to hurry and go get gas because there is a error. 7 of them make it within 5 minutes and start filling up. While filling up the clerk catches the error and changes the price back to 2.09 a gallon. The last 3 go and the price has been fixed. The gas station is not going to hemorrhage their losses and give everyone the gas at .209 a gallon and they are not going to make those who paid gas at .209 a gallon go and pay for their error. It was a clerical mistake and once caught it was fixed. The business takes the minor loss and moves on.
This is the exact same situation. There was a clerical error and some folks took advantage of the situation. Once it was caught it was fixed to prevent a hemorrhage. It sucks that some of us did not get the 40k shirts but it isnt the obligation of a business to lose resources to make a bunch of customers happy. The way Firpo and the dev team handled the situation was perfect. Appreciate the hard work fellas

@rjherried I actually did not benefit from the mistake. I was playing the matches in hard when the need data refresh happened. You don't have to pay anything on this game we have a guy in our faction over a million talent that is F2P. It is a no harm no foul thing. Only babies get upset they didn't get free things. This is a game it doesnt feed my family. You are acting like this game pays you to play and you lost a bonus 😂

It’s not about the free t-shirts, it’s about the absolute mess since the showdown and the handling of this, it has screwed over a significant majority of players in the game, and actions like that kill games.
if they came out, held their hands up and made things right, cool we can all move on, but they haven’t. They refuse any blame about the showdown, and with the t-shirt, doubled down and compensated those that already benefited and gave a massive middle finger to over 90% of the community.
Mistakes happen, the handling of those mistake is what has been disgusting and that’s why there needs to be a very serious change in how mistakes are handled
