I was super excited about this event when I first saw the blog post. Events where you can grind for nice rewards (with the option of spending to make progress easier) are always massively popular with the community.

Unfortunately, the tickets are limited to 1 each per refresh, so this is yet another spend event. Most players won't even make it halfway to maxing this event as a result.

Let's hope the anniversary MLC gives an opportunity to grind for something valuable before the end of the month.

This game does not need another special currency to bleed off blitz tickets.

I cant get any further than ms3. I just have to consider until tomorrow morning if spending 5,000 blitz-tickets will be worth receiving 400,000 coins and 950 contest points in return (those additional 175 ghps are nearly worthless these days since we get so many of them thanks to Snoop).

i do have enough tickets, but still i feel like it makes more sense spending them otherwise - like in last month‘s blitzes which i maxed twice thanks to Farooq Apa.

Trying not to sound too salty, I think the common sentiment would be similar for this event: Great rewards, uber limited ways to earn them without spending. The blitzes can only help if you have Erik and snoop. Besides you can only do 2 blitzes every 8 hours.

Here is the breakdown of you what you have to spend if you have none of the required characters to max this event you would need to do 437 pulls, and the $100 packs only give you 25. All up it will cost you $1750.00 US dollars to max. I'm really feeling the love.

Thanks for the math. The amazing part is that there are obviously people willing to pay that. Well, Jeff Bezos has a lot of time now. So why not? :)

We „Non-Billionaires“ just have to accept that we can only reach certain milestones. It’s one important lesson of this game: you dont need to play every event or reach every milestone.

I calculated that i can get to 41,000 points without spending any money. Ms4 is too expensive. I think i will stick to ms2 and save my blitz tickets for later.

Also chiming in that I was looking forward to using a bunch of blitz tickets for this event only to realize that you could only get 1 of each every 8 hours. Killed the event dead for me, especially since the only way to get more wasn't even though a paid deal or anything, but a percentage off a 4% chance in loot to get a single extra ticket. This event would normally a real grindfest even without that limitation, and I'm fine with the idea that I could burn a truckload of blitz tickets and maybe buy some more in the name of getting good prizes.

I've participated in events where you have to grind like hell to get something good, and using characters or extra resources as a way to speed that up is a good way to balance getting people to pay and not feeling obligated to drop a ton of money to complete an event. But the heavy limitations on obtaining the tickets itself really weighs it into 'not even remotely worth it'.

Other than that, I think it's interesting how it cycles between bonuses every 8 hours - that's probably the smallest timeframe I'd want it to be, otherwise you risk having people working or sleeping past time intervals. I think I'd even prefer 12 hour intervals, but that would probably require a 3-4 day event to add some variety.

    4 STER TOKENS REWARD

Pros-rotating tasks allow you to maxmize points for who you have. Depending on your roster you can get some decent free rewards.

cons-requirements are strict. The explanation of how it worked was poor causing some people to use tickets on the seth blitz when they would've been better saved for Andrade as an example. The 3k difference in points is enough to cost a milestone for some players.

IMO The prize wall has plenty that people are able to do their 1% and even have deals like last month for 30 shirts @500 blitz tickets.

Offering additional tickets as only RNG in loot that had 0 superstars that top players need is stupid. It forces people to pull for the sake of pulling if they want to max the event. Selling additional tickets, even if limiting the amount would have been better and yielded more people spending to max the contest

Pros: I liked the aspect of doing something a little different. The tickets were relatively cheap as well.

Cons: It would take a lot of money to max this event because the coin to point ratio was much too low. The best prizes stacked in the last two milestones meant a lot missed out. Good on paper but failed on delivery

  • Pros- it was a nice change of pace event. A little different then the norm. Everyone had to build a mini strategy that was specific to them and which characters they had. The tickets were reasonably priced and the ability to trade in standard tickets for specific ones allowed everyone at least an opportunity to participate.

cons- the actual rewards seemed to be a little stretched. The actual quality prizes were a little too far out of reach. It would be nice to see one of these events to have some of the league shop credits at a more realistic level. Atleast enough to add with the free ones from the portal to allow everyone Atleast one set of cash ins ( help with clutter in the inventory).

Pros: Interesting format. I like that the character requirements changed every 8 hours. You needed to plan out who you wanted to play in order to get the most points on offer.

Cons: Limiting the special blitz tickets to 1 per 8 hours was annoying. At least make it a little more than that. Throw in some tours that allow you to earn the special tickets. Having the special tickets as a featured pull was ridiculous.

  • PRO's:

    • Rewards and change up from the standard event was good to see
    • Ticket prices were fair

    CON's:

Very difficult mid-week event for players with high demand jobs to complete during their work day.

  • Pro: loved the format. Blitz tickets were pretty cheap. Prizes were nice as well.

cons: only way to max it was having was needed 2 brand new rare characters who made no sense being in the event in the first place or spending a minimum of $600. Could of been a homerun if these 2 characters weren’t needed.
