Strap bonus on reinforce: should I just sell if no bonus on the first try?

A number of things in this discussion but basically it seems like if you don't get a bonus on receiving a strap, and you reinforce once and still nothing, you're better off selling it in my opinion. I still have a few blank non reinforced legendary straps and I've a good mind to just sell them.

I've reinforced a number of straps to no avail on bonus. Does anyone know if the strap pass gives increases in chances? It would suck it did but just need to know to adjust expectations and sell straps as they come.

    There's a chance with each reinforcement to activate a strap bonus. I don't know the stats on chances. Personally I sell anything that isn't a rare bonus or can't be used on someone today or in the near future. The strap pass only mentions increased chance when leveling medals.

    It's very expensive to reinforce especially if u have to use about 50k parts in total to level an epic/legendary to have nothing in return is deflating. Thanks for the info @DKMangler. Since the odds are unknown I'll probably just stick to selling epics/legendary after one reinforce if no bonus especially legendary. Better of buying the silver ones and hoping for a bonus than unlocking blank ones and wasting parts.
