Why do feedback comments in the forum require 'approval'?

And from whom does that approval come and how long does it take? I've been trying to post my event feedback all day and it still has yet to go through. I've gotten no notice of it being denied either. It's just sitting in my drafts, unposted, despite me having hit the post button at least a half dozen times throughout the day

Seems a little disingenuous to ask for feedback from the community and then decide what feedback does and does not go up. I understand a need for moderation, but it's certainly unfortunate to need pre-approval to post anything, especially when pre-approval can take 6+ hours.
