Hunter Hearst Helmsley "Connecticut Blueblood" contest

Tour - I think the associated tour was the best part of this event - really nice rewards even for players in normal and no need to pull the required character to experience the tour! The difficulty curve can be wacky in these extended tours, but if the rewards are consistently this decent, I think many players would love to see more open tours like these!
Solo Milestones - Totally fair if you're willing to put in the feud time. I think the botch of having technicians be the point-scoring method again this contest was a bummer, after I had already put some love into my techs to hit a milestone in the AJ contest - I was looking forward to spreading that love to other members of my roster and instead found myself being choosy with which techs I could afford to bump at this point given the resource scarcity (which the aforementioned tour did a decent job of addressing!) Finally, the relative lack of What a Year contest points in the milestones was really disappointing and I would have pushed harder at a chance for more contest points. But when you're only getting 400 at 6 million? That's not much.
Faction Milestones - Again, completely reasonable! I would've liked to see a few more points associated with the boss clears in hard and hell - I know the 1-percenters can handle NWO Hogan with ease (because they probably have NWO Hogan and a second mortgage!) but 90% of the player base is either going to be unable to beat that top-tier character or have a miserable time doing it. It's a major accomplishment and should be rewarded as such, ESPECIALLY on hell! However, I know the goal was to sell ornament bags for a chance at the gold ornaments. As I write this, I do not know how long it will take to be able to recycle those ornaments, but I'm hoping it won't be long as the faction events that clog my inventory are annoying.
Loot - Really disliking the trend away from $0.99 pulls. In the few pulls I did, I came away feeling like I need to re-prioritize my investments in this game, both time and monetary-wise. Running Roster Power Elite at the same time this weekend further cemented my desire to focus money away from the game - it's clear that free-to-play players are being thrown a bone this month, and high-spending players will always be able to get what high-spending players want, but the people on the middle ground don't have a lot of options.
Overall, a very solid event that nonetheless felt very separated from the "What A Year" mood of celebration, and whose monetization methods felt geared more towards Hunter's fellow bluebloods.

Event is ok but not enough chances to gain points required

Tour was nice... wish there was more points for solo event in there
Is there a plan for those ornaments after the event... similar to the Thanksgiving letters event. I liked that. Why can’t there be recycling options after each MLC?

This contest made us disappointed when compared to AJ Styles Scrimmage Event.
At that contest, we could almost get 1200 shards of Styles out of 1600. But in this contest, we couldn't even get 800 shards.
Specifically, I have to tell this. Hunter Hearst Helmsley "Connecticut Blueblood" has really great moves. I wish I will get him soon.

Pros-the tour was easy for a change and didn't require a contest superstar to score a bunch of extra points only a bonus if you get HHH and wanted a little extra, there were a lot of shards in the event available. Many people were able to recruit him with no money spent and others with low amounts of spending. The event was grindable if you wanted to put in some work
Cons-the character is another trickster that isn't that good. In a group with the best characters being extraordinarily rare having some more good options besides big e who is best with a very rare gear would be nice. The go live was horrible with the bugs including vault level up rewards not being part of it and the talent bonus being tech instead of trickster. While the blog is subject to change some of these errors seem to be rather low hanging fruit that shouldn't make it to the live environment. typically there is a tour for the chase character to get some resources back if you want to level during the event and it was disappointing to not see this "bonus" tour for those who managed to recruit.

Another beast HHH INTRODUCED by game...but you should put more shards in tours so that it achievable...

Why give us coins for the vault as leaderboard rewards if the vault is no longer there?

It doesn’t help that you have to pay in order to have any shot to get Hunter.

Well, I completed the HHH individual contest and took all milestone rewards. But in the end I got only 1065 shards of him total... My faction didn't take all the milestone rewards in the faction contest. But even if we would have done that I would still be like 300 shards away of getting HHH. That's kind of really frustrating! But the tour itself was nice. The requirements for the feud was also quite reasonable. So the individual contest was doable if you wanted to invest your time in it. But again the rewards actually give you nothing...

Pros: Definitely the open tour, it really did give players that option at least. Not much in resources but something is something.
cons: the odds of getting the gold ornament was ridiculous. A vault that was broken.

Same thing im not going for him...

Looks like it’s going to be very challenging getting this character like a lot of other characters. Very disappointing.

This game is becoming nothing but spending money. The top milestones are unachievable without dropping a few paychecks. And you pay and end up getting 1 or 2 shards

I didn't have to spend anything to get him and I know quite a few who got him as well. The key is faction involvement. If people don't do their 1% that really hurts the ability to max these.
