I miss Versus

Frankly, Versus was a much better mode than Showdown with the only exception being the showdown store.

I know a lot of people thought it was stale and/or worthless but it worked. All it needed was a tweak, not a complete re-invention.

    Certain specifics may be the result of faulty memory on my part. Just want to throw that out there.

    Definitely the fame system, collecting those points, getting rewards at various milestones, in particular the props which are being neglected all over the place right now.

    I maxed that out every week.


    With showdown, days and days go by with nothing I have any interest in popping up in the store. Paying in game cash to randomly refresh the items...well, thats a crap shoot that I've never won. So I end up "saving up" but the things I want never come.

    You used to be able to trade revenge matches back and forth in Versus. This week, none of the people that have hit me in showdown have the revenge button on my log so I can't hit them back at all.

    I've always felt the showdown store was overpriced. It doesn't have enough categories so the few that aren't dedicate don't rotate enough.

    So, in Versus, every week I was collecting tp, props, coins, health packs; while in showdown I'm buying star fragments but mostly just sitting there waiting.
