From reading the blog i have some mixed feelings. The return of the keys and potential pulls sounds promising. Other stuff i need to see in action first.
The choice of contest superstars is not really good for my roster. But i was quite lucky this month so i dont want to complain.
what strikes me though are the rewards for the kick off: on the positive side i should finally be able to recruit the godfather. But is it correct that you can neither win any coins nor tps there? Well, i also need to see the specifics there to take a final judgement. Only 21 hours to go. Looking forward to end this crazy year with a blast. :)

Love the fact that the keys are back and you have a coin for the prize wall instead if it being the same currency for the loot. Adding back the keys gives new players the chance of advancing quicker in the game and makes it more exciting for them. I would not take them out again only ones who complained about them were the big roster guys. Loving the direction the game is going thanks and keep it up

All tricksters have the dodge capability so I'm not sure how changing hogan to someone else would benefit anything.

Thoughts of MLC Week 1
- Love the shorter tours but feel the rewards are a bit on the skimpy side in my opinion
- Kick off blitz hard and hell mode is way too restricted. You need to either pay $19.99 or $99.99 to get the 2 or 3 star Lacy Evans to do... or spend insane amounts of money in pulls for a small chance
- Coin costs to unlock perks (ESPECIALLY FEUD ONES... 437k for feud perks that you can only use for a few days, bogus) is still too high. I would rather spend coins on leveling up my superstars than on something that is only for a limited time

Each MLC gets more and more frustrating, lack of resources for those 15+ leagues for the solo MLC. At this point, these rewards do not reflect the rewards we should be getting for those in a higher league. It takes 30 million to take our character to 5sb bronze max but you have reduced the coins in showdown? How does that make sense?
It seems the only thing that receives more attention now is the store. You are a business at the end of this but you can’t be gauging us for trying to be competitive and getting little in return. The MLCs and other small events such as showdown and faction feud should better reflect the rewards for those in higher leagues. And what’s worse is that based on the rng for the rewards, players need to max the MLC in order to get Randy. Stop with the RNG and provide players with better guarantee rewards. People have put thousands of dollars in the game and get very little back.
I appreciate the new characters players have been getting but if we only have 1 million in coins and barely any TPs, what’s the point of getting three if we can’t upgrade them?

Okay so we need to max out all the coin event to get shards for the chase character. Most people don’t have that many coins save up and there are not enough coins in the rewards to help us. Atleast if that’s case give more chances to earn coins or a different method to get shards for the character

Feedback on the MLC -
Pros:
- Great that they keys are back. The chance to get items in the faction vault is a great addition
- The daily blitz for Lacey is great. 1 free ticket a day is cool, although we are losing the daily event which gave contest points.
- Lacey is a great free character
- Shorter more frequent CSS tours are great. Publishing the full list of who we need for the month helps a lot for planning for who to work on and level up throughout the month
Cons:
- I don't like that we need more TP to max the TP event. It used to be 188k, it's now 200k. It should stay the same, we're not getting more for maxing it so why raise the limits?
- The scoring method for talent up was made a lot harder. The token values for 4g, 4s etc. we almost halved. We had to do close to twice as much compared to the previous month, but the rewards were not twice as good? This isn't fair at all.
- The coin situation needs to be looked at pretty urgently. We're not able to earn coins in line with the requirements for coin events and talent up. This month it's going to take around 200 million coin to max all the coin events - this is too much! You need to up the coin rewards across the board. The rewards for dailies have remained the same, but we now have 5 star in the meta, so it should increase accordingly. Getting the chase character is also getting harder and harder because of the coin situation.
- Finally, perks were made more expensive. We don't have free turnbuckles from blitz, which is fine, but there really shouldn't be perks with 8 levels instead of the usual 3. Why do this? I just adds to the coin problem, and the perks themselves aren't exponentially better

TOURS
Making the contest superstar bonuses available for the entire month rather than 24/48 hours was fantastic. This was probably my favorite improvement made this month. This gives players the chance to invest resources in characters during the event to go back and complete tours later. Please retain this in the future. While the contest superstars were great, the requirements for the shard bag nodes were a bit too tough in my opinion. I don’t have either character, but the Hulk Hogan and Macho Man requirement could have been reduced to one of these characters. I would like to see a few of those requirements relaxed in future events. I would also suggest making past chase characters a requirement more often in monthly events. This would reward players for chasing the MLC character every month and motivate them to participate in each monthly event.
DESIGN/THEME
Due to the timing of the 12 Days events during the month, the ‘What a Year’ concept was lost in the shuffle. I really enjoyed the Christmas-themed environments, designs, gifts, and gears. The concept of this 12 days giveaway is really great and I would really like to see something similar incorporated into next December’s event. For instance, 11 tours (January to November) requiring each month’s free character or bonus rewards for using the previous chase characters as contest superstars. Players could have the chance to earn a chase character for a particular month that they missed or gears for those characters. Key pulls could also give shards of the free characters and so on.
KEY LOOT
I know a lot of players were glad to see the return of key pulls this month. While I don’t have strong feelings either way on key pulls, I would really like to see an alternative strap and medal loot using keys as the currency. I think a lot of players would be grateful to have a choice on how to spend their keys.
FREE GIFTS
I think every player would agree that the gifts throughout the month were great. HOF Nikki was a huge surprise and many players will be grateful to have a female Hall of Fame character for future requirements. Also, the resources were very nice and added up to a nice amount after 12 days. The Vader poster and gear were a really good free reward, especially for those who didn’t have this character. I would have liked to use the tokens for coins more than once, but unfortunately, this was only available once. I wasn’t lucky enough to get close to recruiting HOF Eddie or Brie, but I have seen many people get lucky, so overall it’s hard to complain. I hope these kinds of giveaways return for anniversaries, WrestleMania, etc. in the future.
DIFFICULTY (CHASE CHARACTER)
It appears that the 4 star gold shard chase has been made significantly more difficult this month. This is not necessarily a bad change in my opinion, but I hope that the solo event final milestone will be slightly easier to reach than past months to compensate for the difficulty of recruiting by shards. At this point it’s hard to make a full assessment as the final week of events often gives a lot of shards and solo event points.
FREE CHARACTER
Lacey was a pretty solid character as a freebie. While she isn’t very powerful, she can utilize the heal gems to get wins against difficult opponents and use very few HPs which is a bonus. The daily blitz is a nice change to the daily tour. I like that I can complete these blitz runs at any time during the month. Players don’t feel under pressure to complete the blitz every single day. Another benefit is that players don’t need to move trainers back and forth to Lacey on a daily basis. This month hasn’t really provided any incentive to invest resources into Lacey, however, as there doesn’t seem to be much of a reward for building the character to a high level. This may change in the final week of the event as I expect another blitz and victory tour before the month ends.
SIDE EVENTS
AJ/HHH - I think some good progress was made in the design of these events. Players were able to get a lot closer to a shard recruit for these characters, which tempts players into spending to acquire the remaining shards. The HHH did have one major advantage over the AJ Styles event as players could compete for leaderboard rewards by feuding. Unfortunately, the design of showdown events doesn’t allow players to continue playing and competing for top prizes on the leaderboard. I would really like to see a point method added for winning showdown matches rather than just earning showdown coins.
12 Days - As this event approaches the end, I feel slightly disappointed overall. I really enjoyed some days of the event, while others were really restrictive and didn’t offer any meaningful rewards. I thought the days where players could grind the entire event were fantastic. I ‘took advantage’ by playing over 100 blitz and survival matches on each of those days for some great rewards in the milestones and leaderboards. On the other hand, many days only allowed players to reach a small number of milestones, and going beyond this required a lot of spending. When evaluating the rewards for spending, there didn’t seem to be a lot of value for money in maxing these events. In addition, the overall faction and solo events were very difficult and the number of players actually completing the events was very low. Given where most players ended the event, this event seemed like a huge amount of grinding and spending to only end up halfway towards recruiting the character at the end (Goobledy Gooker).
Flash Feuds/Truth - These events have been very good. The rewards are good, and the requirements and milestones are reasonable. The shards event is slightly disappointing as it seems that only 1 milestone is realistically reachable from completing all the tours and feud milestones. For events like this, I highly recommend a loot where shards drop more regularly. With 3,000 shards needed to recruit, players would still need to make a lot of pulls to reach this number. Having a side event like this that rewards players for pulling shards would make these pulls even more appealing if the odds for shards were better.
