Playstyle
Simply put, John Cena does what many others do. Except he does it better than most.
Notable Combos
- Five Knuckle Shuffle / FU / Protobomb
Trainer 1: Jerry Lawler "The King"
Trainer 2: Kane "Director of Operations"
Immediately lay down Countdown gems with Five Knuckle Shuffle then proceed to charge FU by matching Blue. Once FU is ready (ideally before the Countdown gems go off) set up 2 Green cascades: one to help fill the finisher Protobomb, the other is to be matched manually. If you end up not pinning the opponent, you'll be able to trigger the countdown gems early & use the finisher in the same turn which guarantees victory in most situations.
A coach that grants extra MP for Green match is highly recommended as you can skip more gems to ensure the pin bar not going too far.
While the damage might be catastrophic for your opponent, this combo is somewhat hit or miss due to the fact that you must have a Blue match ready turn 1 or you risk the opponent eliminating your premature Countdown gems.
2. Monkey Flip / Hurricanrana / STFU
Trainer 1: Sting "The Icon"
Trainer 2: Seth Rollins "The Architect"
Prioritize Red match. It's a Bleed/Submission combo with great efficiency. Dish out Bleed damage first with Monkey Flip then use Hurricanrana to fill STFU. Activate the submission move to fully capture the highest damage potential.
One may swap Hurricanrana for Sitout Hip Toss. It provides a better solution for recycling as long as there are enough Green gems available on the board.
Weak Against
- Superstars that have super low charge move sets.
- Superstars that have high gem damage.
