What exactly got recycled?
Most of my inventory is still cluttered with old items even after I recycled, a mistake or intentional by Scopely?

Same. I have 27 different turnbuckles still in my inventory. Thought those would be the first things to go

I got 82 blitz tickets and played all 8 blitzes which gave me a decent amount of rewards. But i still have so much more useless stuff in my inventory which could get recycled for more blitz tickets. Is there any reason why only some items were recycled and others stayed in my inventory?

I still have 91 pieces of trash inventory after recycling... apparently they don’t consider 90% of the inventory still current

Same with me. Only a couple of turnbuckles were recycled. What's with the other garbage?

in my case the turnbuckles for the current contest are gone (blitz and feud)... im not the only one in my faction with this problem...

They did a pretty thorough recycle event last December if I recall correctly so I imagine there will be another one soon that clears out the other stuff.

agree - why would they not clear out all that extra garbage......makes me think everything they do is 1/2 a**

When you click the recycle button it shows which items will be recycled. It was mostly old turnbuckles from previous months. Not sure why it wasn't everything in the Inventory from previous events

It was nice to get those rewards from those 8 blitzes I could do there. But it´s really strange that only certain items were recycled. And funfact: The event itself gave us more trash since now I do have 2 probably useless blitztickets in my inventory (since I needed 10 of them for another blitz).
But I don´t wanna complain: Overall it was a right step and I hope it will be repeated next month to make us get rid of all the other useless items we still have.

With the event over are you asking if something similar will be done with the rest? I can tell you there isn't anything currently planned but we can request this type of event be done again with more inventory

I would advise Scopely to create a regular recycling event at the beginning of every contest month where all unused items from last month‘s event (and initially once from all previous events) will be recycled against new items for the new contest.
There are only a few items like regular blitz tickets, diamonds, health packs... which should be excluded. It cant be so hard to make a list of those timeless items and to program the code that all others, ie temporary items get recycled.
Make it a regular thing in the kick-off week, give people some useful stuff for the new contest in return and people will be happy.

Speaking hypothetically..if we were able to clear our inventory (recycle) would that help with gameplay at all? ?just curious?
