Make Showdown Great Again

I agree it used to be everyone could take part in showdown and get prizes now that you have to have certain characters and have them leveled up it makes it almost impossible to enjoy

You don't have to have them leveled up. They just have to be in your team. You don't have to actually win the match with them. For example, I have a 5b Rey with 91% gem defense. He one hits damn near everyone. Anyone who I'm required to "win a Showdown match" with goes in the opposite slot. After the match, it's cleared.

And for mixed matches, if the required superstar is lower level, you can also just lower your defense. There will be tons of other people who do likewise allowing you to get easier matches with them.

I am not able to move up as I keep getting attacked multiple times at the same time. This is unreal

It‘s quite a common issue though. The question on my mind is: how is it possible that in offense we often get the warning „the opponent has been attacked already“? That implies that it shouldn‘t be possible that one opponent can be attacked twice at the same time. But then again those screenshots prove that this team has been attacked a lot at the same time.

there is definitely something wrong with the game mechanics then, because this does not really make sense. And it can be frustrating. Since the 500-barrier does not exist any more, its not as bad as before. But still it can be really annoying.

IT's clearly bad Public Relations to the commuinity that supports this game.

I stopped trying. I remember in the old format - I would try to stay above that 500 notierty - and this exact same thing would happen to me. I get around 500-600 and by the time the event would end during my sleeping hours I would be back under 500 and getting less showdown coins.

The other issue as mentioned is that when trying to attack players - getting the 'player been recently attacked' and you can't attach them. I have tried to attack them for a good 10 min, and get the same message....we know matches don't last that long and it's clear in our LOG that we can get attacked at the same time as we get many defeats within seconds of each other......

It's a shame that they actually coded the game to go against any time/effort you put into it.

This competition makes NO SENSE

My current status:

Don’t have these characters required for the extra 700000 bonus points.

We’re not even going to mention on this post how even in attempting to get the bonus point characters was a SCAM

I can’t make anymore showdown coins on the current showdown.

If Last night had things not happened like this:

I could have made the additional 15000 showdown coins needed.

Adding the 700000 character bonus points, this would have been where my progress stood:

Had this predatory algorithm not happened in showdown with the multiple attacks at the same time. I would have been able to reach the last milestone.

It’s designed in a very frustrating way almost as if the milestones are not meant to be achieved without spending a small fortune. Another waste of time and money.
