Why are contest locked until time of, to see their requirements?

It would be helpful to see what requirements are beforehand to judge whether a contest is worth your time, resources and what rewards could be gained. Maybe a particular contest overlaps so you could gain rewards for both by saving requirements/resources to spend. On the calendar it would be extremely helpful to peruse what contests requirements are and subsequently which to partake in based on preference.

    Thank you for your reply. But there are mini contests that have no explanation/description in the blog or I am not seeing it? I know the major ones come with a full blog e.g. MLC but the ones in between would be helpful to see their requirements e.g the recent one the gobeldy gooker (spelling) showdown tournament, we had no idea what requirements were needed until time of. I would like to suggest in the web portal under calendar a little window which shows requirements. On the main blog you put a disclaimer "subject to change" that can be still put on there for the mini ones. It's not like the whole contest would be overhauled but it would give better choice to the players.

    Hey guys,


    The blog usually handles the "bigger" contests and less the regular contests. For the latter and all other contests we provide an "intel" section where the community can share their "findings" about the latest deployed contests.

    But overall, we try to share all the important info for upcoming contests in time so you can get the chance to prepare yourself.
