How to build a good faction

As a leader for 2 years of a stable faction, its important to reward active members and yet be firm with under performers. A slack attitude can be contagious, and strong players will get frustrated and leave. Avoid drama at all costs. Need at least 70 members to be close to top100 in event ranks.

It all depends on what results you want out of your faction. The higher rank you want to place as a faction means you need to understand the commitment of everyone and hold them responsible without being a jerk. You can have a strong faction that also understands we all have a life.

This is some good insight. I will pass on some of these to my faction.

It depends on how you define success, but you'll definitely need more people if you want to compete.

@FootersInSidney yep I know what you mean I'm in a faction I like a lot, not just because of the core people but also because we get along good on discord about life subjects to. The problem is we keep moving forward but not making progress. I've tried to change the culture but am not a leader, but a officer the most active one in the faction game wise, problem solving wise, and information wise. I get help from my son who's in his own faction with some info, but I post just about everything game wise on discord. I answer as many question that I can that I know the answers to. I have taught the leaders in my faction how to better score during event's don't get me wrong they knew some stuff (which they should have been playing for 2 years and above). In the time I have been playing this game (about 9-10 months) I feel I have well established myself in the overall game. I am the only member of my faction that has earned the promotions I have gotten. I feel like I am 3rd in charge in the faction. My faction broke off from another b4 I joined them All the officers in the faction came from the old faction I am the one and only person to be promoted to officer from outside the old faction. I feel like there's more that can be done but at least the man leader is a little to chill sometimes. And doesn't cut people from the old faction that do nothing or just barely something. The problem here is that not only that he have dead weight we have management be that should be held to a higher standard but are not. And only do some if anything but no warning's and no booting so what I'm saying is that there is dead weight in the management department. I put it out there that I don't know how much time I have left in the faction but when and If I leave I will probably start my own faction, yeah it may take a while but at least I control the narrative. But b4 that I might join a top 100 faction just to know what it's like to feel rewarded for your effort's. I don't know how I feel on merger's I would like the same leader's but just a different way of handling thing's, and I would still like to be an officer if not become a leader because I feel I do a lot to help out in every aspect of the game. We have about 30 people who have descent scores in feuds but the rest just seem to just do some to say they did we rank anywhere from 210-250 in feuds and that's with only 40-50 people who actually do something but there's only about 20-25 of us who actually carry the team. And also because I don't know how comfortable I would be with somebody new as a leader and didn't exactly understand life is first , game is second and would be a dick about it.

yeah now I now why you can't direct message people cause you's as moderator's don't want us player's to communicate with each so can talk about how much of jerk's (to be nice) you's can be. Can't you just let people say what they want you's alway's have to comment on everything, seem's to me like you all like the attention on you's not on the forum. Just looks like that to me. @ramsey
