Appreciation post for people who lowered their defences for the Thanks and Tanks Showdown Tournament

Just want to thank everyone in the community that lowered their defences today. Personally came up against a lot that did on my run through the showdown. Was able to complete all my lower character wins and hit 15k both days.

    I'm trying to get that bronze leaf, I noticed today that there were some matches available with road dogg, just a few more showdown matches with him (trying to get 10) and I'll hopefully do it

    Maybe the more popular these forums become the more it will be spread that lowering defenders helps the community. We also need this point translated into as many languages as possible.

    With this new format, there is no incentive to drop your defense like there was even 2 months ago. I did and only got hit by people who I hit previously at their full team so I couldn't even revenge them. I woke up at 670 notoriety, and lite6ally force lost my way to 0 notoriety and only found 6 lowered defenses the whole way. I had to reach out to some former faction mates to get them to lower their defense just so I could get an easy win to hit the milestone for the bronze leaf, which was pointless in the end because scopes once again made an event pointless by only giving rewards to the top 10 factions.

    thanks to those who lowered their defence in sd tournament if all do the same most of the people will be able max showdown event and collect a few milestone in contest.

    Maybe if you only lost 1 notoriety point if your defence was beaten would encourage more to drop it for everyone to get decent showdown scores

    I never see that many lowered defenses. I do remember one event where everyone lowered theirs but doesn't seem to happen as often now

    Yeah cuz some people have some killer rosters and they could squash lower power players such as myself that shows people don’t want people quitting the game cuz they can’t compete

    I haven't come across ANYBODY that was willing to lower their defense, but if they're also trying to get the prizes, I can totally understand. It is awesome to see people willing to help those with lower skilled rosters, but then again, it's not mandatory for somebody to do so. So thank you to those who helped players achieve contest milestones!!

    I see a lot of thanks for ppl lowering their defences but can’t say I’ve seen anyone that has done it ....guess that’s just my luck
