[Suggestion] Universal Shard System

Hello all,

hopefully you are safe and in good spirits today but I came here to talk about a suggestion I had to shake the current shard system up. My idea is to implement a universal shard system that will allow us, the players, to trade our thousands of unused and unusable shards into a universal currency that we can use to bring up any character(s) we desire to have in our roster. Here is how it would work:

  1. Find the character you want
  2. Be able to see how many universal shards you'd need
  3. Enter a trade block screen that shows ALL of the shards you have.
  4. Click the character with the shards you desire to change into universal currency
  5. Enter the amount and get a return of X amount of universal currency.
  6. Find the character/item you want in the universal shard/currency list.
  7. Put those universal shards into that character so that you can either have enough to recruit them or at least be a bit closer to recruiting them

I was thinking that the return rate of universal shards could be low but at least we will, as players, know exactly what our money is going towards. I would love to spend for universal currency as it becomes my choice to purchase whatever it is that I want whether it be a gear for Edge for 10,000 or Edge himself for 25,000. At least I know that I will eventually get my money's worth.

    That would be nice as well. Especially when people are like 5 shards off of an MLE character and will have to wait a whole nother year/month to get a shot at them

    Trading or selling inventory like tokens, tp, shards etc to other members of your faction. Put a value on each item and sell them off for coins.

    I love the idea if trading shards.

    Also, it would be nice to be able to sell off unused items from long past months.

    Another suggestion I have, that's kinda been bothering me, is separating the store into 2 categories:

    1 for purchasing with $

    1 for trading in game currency

    I feel like it would make that area much more comprehensive

    They had that recycle event a while ago. Hope it comes back sometime soon.

    An unused shard recycling system would be a great benefit for us. Once in a period of time we should get the chance to trade in unused shards for TP. like if we have 50 tech booker T shards we should be able to trade them for a fair amount of green tp for example.

    If we are able to sell our unused items, I hope they make it possible for us to choose what we sell them for. An example would be to sell a number of 1 star silver or gold tokens for up to 5 star gold tokens. It may need to take a large amount but it would certainly help obtain these very rare items.

    It would also be nice to trade in shards we are not using for maybe TP of that character's color.

    Also another idea would be offer the superstar posters in the faction expedition loot. I rarely purchase the belts and think if they offer a 50 shard poster or even 10 shards it would help achieve the superstars required to participate in certain events.

    maybe TIER the characters out into categories?

    so mega rare all have one tier, so 2000 shards of any mega rare= the one you want

    mega rare, epic, rare, uncommon, common

    How about "Wild card" shards? Let Us, the Players, choose which superstar the shards become.

    Universal shards would be amazing. Even if it was a once a year thing with the inventory clear out. Even if they give us like 300-500 max, it’s doubtful most people would be able to unlock more than 1-3 characters.
