Showdown Scrimmage All-Stars

There were mixed reviews on this but most of the complaints were that it took away the faction/solo portion. The rewards seemed to have just been moved into the special solo/faction rewards so I don't know that was a valid concern and more a change is bad reaction.
Pros: this rewarded past spending/participation and allowed a chance to get a new character. 15 factions maxed the event which is a good number. It was reasonable to hit the 2nd to last milestone with free characters and that allowed for hitting the 800000 milestone for faction provided your entire faction participated. Looking at the leaderboard 26 teams hit that milestone with an hour left and 1 was 1k short. It was reasonable to hit about 1000 shards of rhea free.
Cons: the usual requirements of spending complaints though it did reward historical spenders so this is less of a valid complaint with the amount of shards you can get for free its reasonable to get her down the road. The fact that rhea is NOT a good character and suffers from the exact same problems of tech becky who was so bad she needed a ridiculous gear to improve her. The biggest complaint was female first and the lack of quality females available AND requiring dunne for 50 matches who is terrible and reasonably shouldn't be more than 3ss at this point making it an easy loss if your opponent tags in. With the heavy focus on subs in women that leads to unbalanced tag counters so you can't always tag out right away and when you do the counter is unbalanced again and you get tagged back in right away.

Pros: This event was maxable when having all superstars. The loot was significantly better than others in recent memory, namely the featured didn’t have a bunch of shards and it was more ROI. A welcome change that’s been needed for ages. The Ripley tour had amazing rewards worth putting resources into her to complete it, would love to see this format going forward. Faction event had a simplistic way to score points.
Cons: Faction event was lacking in rewards, namely the MLC faction points we’ve come to expect as well as shards for the chase superstar. The removal of the normal showdown contests was a big detriment to many that are unable to compete in the special portions of the contest because it contains much needed resources. Consider when looking at these showdown contests to make it possible to max if you’re missing one of the super rare superstars but have others through means such as minimal spending to max or additional TU, HP, heal point values

More positive then negative, but i can certainly see why a lot did not like it... The fact that 2 ultra rare characters are required to max is not well recevieved EVER. Again, stop putting so many characters in the "featured section" of the loot, it drains the odds. Obviously that's your intent, but, again, makes people not pull. Rhea as a character was pretty dissapointing. She is not terrible, but i dont understand why all new characters can be at least fun to play with. She is neither good nor fun. Very bland.
We still need more coin, TP, and resources in general but the Rhea tour was excellent. All tours should be closer to that.

At first look, the contest didn't look good. But in hindsight, with a reasonably "good" roster, you could achieve a lot. If you're in a good faction, you could also recruit Rhea without maxing the contest.
The tours were also ok, but the opponents in the Rhea Tour in Hell mode were a little too strongly selected and only with props to defeat

It would be a good SD Event if you put the "old" system with Solo and Faction Event in it, where SD Coins count, too. A mix between the new and the old SD system. Its not a good way to make Showdown a cash Event, too. There are cash events multiple times a week and thats too much. With Showdown making it cashing too you will loose more and more of the players

Pros: Went off without a hitch, no issues, no glitches
If you had all the required superstars, you were able to recruit Rhea without spending any money so long as you were willing to put in the time and effort, thus rewarding prior spending
Cons: Too many rare superstars required for bonus points
removal of the traditional showdown tournament individual and faction contests was not well received, a lot of players felt there was less to grind for not having the required superstars

Again mostly all mentioned, this was mostly a bipolar event, most high end players liked the event as you cause finally max something if you met all requirements and could even max it if you were missing a few characters, tho players on the lower end with smaller rosters felt like taking away the solo SD event removed their normal coins and token rewards that they didnt get this time

All around this was a great event. Hope to see more like this. Everything was achievable for your main players that spend money on this game. Didn’t need to have every single required character either. On the flip side the only negative aspect is this event had to be torture to lower factions. Loot pulls looked good too. A lot of people pulling characters needed for the event.

Well with mix reviews, IMO I think it went well could have been a bit better, however there definitely was things that were obtainable and achievable.
