Playstyle

Many other competitors at the top level like to rely on board manipulation or causing disruption in their opponent's move sets but Mankind "Mr. Socko" does not flinch at anything. He has, in fact, embraced and welcomed it. He lets the opponents a window to do whatever they want. It doesn't matter because in the end it's always Mr. Socko and Mankind as the last man standing.

Notable Combos

  1. Mandible Claw / Tree Of Woe Double Axe Handle / Diving Elbow Drop

Trainer 1: Rezar "Authors of Pain"

Trainer 2: Jerry Lawler "The King"

Prioritize Purple. Due to featuring 2 Green finishers, supplied by Green Gems from Tree of Woe Double Axe Handle, this combo will definitely pin a lot which can backfire sometimes however it also puts your opponent in a "die if you do, damned if you don't" kind of situation. The Mandible Claw move to force your opponent in a pin with 4 columns of Botch Gems at your choice. The Diving Elbow Drop move for another pin with bonus damage with each Botch Gem. The opponent will have to avoid the mod gems to kick out but not so much or those gems can turn around and bite them in the next of your turn.

At 5-star, Double Arm DDT is unlocked. Simply another way to play around the Botch Gems from Mandible Claw. It sacrifices damage potential for a huge boost in recycle ability.

Weak Against

  • Superstars that have submission.
  • Superstars that can take advantage of Botch Gems.

Strong Against

  • Superstars that have low to medium HP pools.
  • Superstars that have low to medium gem damage.

2. Two-Handed Bulldog / Groin Kick / Running Knee Lift

Trainer 1: Steve Austin "The Texas RattleSnake"

Trainer 2: Seth Rollins "The Architect"

No MP trainer is necessary for this set of moves as Two-Handed Bulldog move allows you to choose the location of a 1x3 Yellow area each turn. The Yellow MP will in turn power the Groin Kick whose Bleed Damage is your main source of attack while Running Knee Lift helps you stay on your feet and less board-dependent. This set has huge damage with little to no direct counter at the moment, on the other hand, it has nothing in stopping your opponent from executing their own offense. Regardless, the trade is usually worth it.

Weak Against

  • Superstars that can quickly trigger moves.
  • Superstars that can burst damage in the first few turns.

Strong Against

I love my mr socko. I personally like using yellow purple yellow in showdowns and playing defensively and just using the bleed as the main damage. I also think for attacking yellow purple purple works well.

Agreed. I never even touch the G/G/P moveset. Just hit the bleed and drain them like a vampire all day long. I have him as max 4sb and I can take down 4sg in Showdown with no trouble most of the time.
