For WWE it was the 80's & NWA/WCW from '85-'88 especially in '88 with the NWA/UWF merger that introduced Sting.

Attitude era was the best. Between the growth of future legends, Monday night wars, and the emergence of some great young talent from WCW (Jericho, Guerrero, Benoit etc) it was the most exciting time.
